About

Sasha Mackay (b. 1995) is originally from the Scottish Highlands and is currently based in Glasgow. In 2019 she graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art and Design with a BA Hons in Fine Art.

Her paintings often sit somewhere between contemplation and amusement in domestic environments, studying routine activities whilst being cognizant of the emotional states her expressive portraits and figures can reveal.

When she isn't in the studio, Sasha works at Roller rink in Glasgow as a manager and roller skate coach.
